My brother is home from Cincinnati. It's good to have him home for a week, even though he does drive me crazy.

Yes, it is actually me.  And yes I know that I haven't been around updating recently.  My life just feels like it's spinning out of control right now and livejournal is not very high on my priority list.  One word to describe my life: STRESS!!!  Oh, and it's not just school work.  Actually, that is not even the brunt of it.  Maria wins that prize.  A little while ago, she played me (& my friend Candace) for a fool.  If you know Candace or I, you probably have heard what happened already, so I don't want to rehash it.  Let's just say that she lied to us and from that wove a huge web of them.  If you would like to know the story (I'm sure you won't believe it), comment and I can fill you in.  So, I have been living with that plus Maria has decided to constantly rile me up when I've been a stressball these past few weeks.  Because of this I went to the hall director and told her that something needed to be changed about living with her next year.  Angie, my hall director, said that the only way for me to stick with Candace is to ask her to leave.  So, I told her that today, explaining my reasoning, and she's being stubborn by saying that she would only move if she was able to stay in this apartment complex!  I hope that there is an opening here, or I'm not sure what's going to happen.  Seriously, if any of you want to hear more of the story (since there is just a lot to type up and I don't want to clog the friends list.  I'm more than happy to share more information and get it off my chest, so just comment and I'll get back to you.

In other news, I do not have any 'classes' anymore.  I'm entering into finals week.  This past week was a nightmare with two 15-page papers due: 1 on Tues and 1 on Thurs.  I'm just so happy they are finished.  This next week isn't looking fun though either.  I have to finish an outline portfolio which my prof even thinks is useless, but it's for my license.  Thursday a literary guide is due.  Amidst this work I need to study for 2 exams in the classes I just finished those papers and another test and extra credit (since I did lousy on one of my tests).  Also tomorrow there is a dance, Deal or No Deal on campus, and working mocktails at a Hot Tub Party.  Today was a Ghana presentation, Maria's concert and Bingo.  So basically this weekend is stocked full.  Don't expect too many updates this week.  Hopefully I'll be better in the summer, but I do have to take 2 courses at different times at Kent.

Just one little request: Think and pray for me.  I'm going to need it this week.  Thanks!  I <3 you guys!!  Oh and I love my parents for staying up with me when writing the papers and proofreading.  Without them I don't know what I would have done.

  I'm stuck in the lowsy and cold Cincy doing homework.  It doesn't help that Candace and I decided to freeze our butts off and actually make mocktails for an 'drive-in' movie night for one of the dorm events.  We were frozen to the core, plus we had to lug all of the supplies back and forth from pretty much the furthest dorm on campus.  We definitely skipped out early and headed back to our warm dorm.  Luckily, I got to take my hot shower first which helped a little.  So now I'm in a comfy lounge gown and my winnie the pooh slippers.  Much better!   Part (or should I say most) of the reason why it's so quiet around here is because Maria is on a retreat.  She will be returning tomorrow and we'll see her at the closing prayer service.  Well since I'm not sure when I'll have time to do it, I think I'm going to work on some more homework and then get to bed a little earlier especially since we lose an hour tonight.  I <3 you all!!
